I am thrilled to say that we have the first and only Retul 3D motion capture system in Europe in our studio. Retul allows me to capture fitting data dynamically, and in real time so we can make changes to your riding position instantaneously and with sub mm accuracy.

Back from Colorado! I attended an Advanced Fitting course – the SICI’s highest accreditation. Amongst the classes I took were Triathling Fitting, Foot/Pedal Interface, Advanced Fitting Issues, Custom Bike Design and Advanced Fitting Technology. The week I spent in Colorado was incredibly interesting and I am looking forward to putting into practice the new skills I have learnt. I also undertook my bi-annual pilgrimage the the best bike shops/fitting studios in the US and it was great to bounce ideas off these established fitters. Finally we have completed a deal that I think will be of extreme value in our aim to constantly improve the customer experience of our clients. This will be introduced in 2008 and I am extremely excited by this

Back from Interbike – still in a bit of a daze!
Had a great time and met some interesting people – hopefully 2008 will bear the fruit of these discussions. Stay tuned !
Managed to do the Las Vegas International Triathlon after the show – held in the stunning Lake Mead. A week of beer, pizza and mexican food is not exactly ideal so I was astonished to come 3rd in my AG. It must have been my Z4. On second thoughts it was all me !

Just back from the annual Eurobike exhibition in Germany
The big product news is that Lightweight will be releasing a clincher version of their standard wheels. Specs sound amazing: c.1080 grams for a carbon clincher. Delivery is slated for March 2008 but I expect that demand will massively outstrip supply, so if you are looking for a wheel for the sportive season pre-order them soon !
