We're now offering our New Bike Fit service again at Bespoke Gresham Street, with our first trials successfully completed.

Whilst our stores remain closed to general visitors due to COVID restrictions, we've kept busy with a core team building new bikes, handling online orders and working hard to support our customers and keep them riding.

Now we're also able to offer fits for new bikes too (only via our jig setup, not on existing bikes), with just a few considerations to ensure your and our safety. Full details below:

We are pleased to say we are now offering our fitting service for New Bikes again, starting immediately. This is done on our adjustable fit equipment and is for new bike sales only; we are not currently offering existing bike fits on rider's current bikes.

Our overwhelming priority is to offer a high quality fit, whilst prioritising the health and safety of you and our staff. With that in mind:

  • We will be doing new bike fits whilst the shop is still shut for footfall traffic
  • You will be the only customer in the shop
  • We will only offer one fit appointment per day
  • The fitter will wear gloves and a mask (We require that the you do as well - we will provide these)
  • The bike fit jig will be sanitised before every fit

We ask that you bring your own cycle clothing and cycling shoes (we cannot lend spare kit).

The fit has previously been 3 hours long and completed in one session, involving a fit element and then a bike chat element. Going forward we will complete the physical fit element in store. This will take around 1-1.5 hours.

The various new bike options that we think best meet your brief will be sent to you a day later and subsequent discussions handled remotely via email, phone or Skype / Zoom (whichever is most convenient for you).

The new bike chat will not be limited to this one conversation, we can spend as much time as needed on follow up emails and calls. We are confident the level of fit and bike advice we will offer will be consistent with our previous offerings.

To make the pre-fit process as efficient as possible we will send a detailed questionnaire to you in advance of your appointment, covering your medical and riding history, cycling goals and what you are looking for in a new bike.

We've historically had a 24-hour cancellation policy; we appreciate that in the current environment its essential that we have flexibility. So if you feel unable to do the fitting for whatever reason please let us know and we will have a 12-hour cancellation policy.

The fitting cost remains at £350, and we have extended the fitting credit period. If you buy a bike within 60 days the fit cost will be credited in full against your purchase of over £2000 (for all payment types except for finance or Cycle to Work schemes).
