2020 Trek Domane SL7

Overview

The latest Domane brings a host of new details to Trek's popular endurance road model.

Front and rear IsoSpeed shock absorption add comfort on rougher surfaces, and there's now a handy internal storage compartment built into the downtube. Easy to access but secure, this is a great way to carry those on-the-road essentials (mini-tool, CO2 cannister, etc) out of the way and maintaining a nice low centre of gravity.

The 2020 Domane has clearance for up to 38mm tyres, and the SL7 comes as standard with 32mm, a clear reflection of the welcome trend towards decently wide tyres for both comfort and handling.

A carbon wheelset is a welcome addition, and Bontrager's latest models have really upped their game in terms of weight and performance. The Aeolus Pro 3V have a 25mm internal rim width, making them a perfect match for the road endurance focused Domane.

The Ultegra Di2 drivetrain does its usual flawless job of shifting precisely and reliably. Overall this is a really well-rounded build that makes for a perfect 'ride every day' bike no matter how far you're travelling.
