Cannondale's Synapse, in aluminium form, is the perfect deluxe commute cruiser; endurance road geometry makes it super efficient, and clever tube shaping proves that aluminium can be comfortable too.

This build, with chunky 30mm Vittoria tyres, is designed to cope with the worst that British roads can throw at it, and with classic SKS mudguards neatly integrated, plus reliable easily-adjustable TRP mechanical disc brakes, it's going to handle all weather conditions with aplomb.

The addition of a sturdy and smart Specialized rack adds to the practicality, showing how even an "off the peg" bike can easily be transformed into a perfectly tailored Bespoke bike (plus we've changed the stock saddle to a Fizik Aliante, to help ensure the perfect fit for this particular customer).
