Cervélo R2

Cervélo describe the R2 as a 'classic' road bike, and that's certainly true. Light, stiff and with their typically race-focused, relatively aggressive geometry, the R2 inherits much of the DNA from Cervelo's racing pedigree. With rim brakes and a traditional silhouette it even looks classic, especially in this incredibly clean Riviera blue paint.

Shimano 105 keeps things accessible, without sacrificing reliability - it's just not quite as plush or as light as some of their higher end groupsets. The same goes for the Shimano wheels - the RS100 are a very capable year-round wheelset, if not the lightest. The core of the R2 is so well engineered, with that full carbon frameset, that any future upgrades will be well worth it.

This particular build has already been upgraded with an Ultegra crankset. But even when completely "off the peg" (and, as always, properly fitted by our Bike Fit specialists) this is a raceworthy bike that won't hold you back.
