We only had a brief window of opportunity to grab some shots of this elegant rim-brake C64 before it was collected by its new owner, but we couldn't let it escape without capturing a few pics for the gallery.
It doesn't always have to be disc brakes, and this is a prime example of just how special a bike can be built when you blend old and new.
The C64 is of course hand made in Italy with a "traditional" lugged construction (but the very latest in carbon technology and tube shapes). Match it with Campagnolo's race-proven Bora carbon wheelset and Shimano's electronic shifting Dura-Ace Di2 and you have a combination that blends the best of classic style and modern tech.
