S-Works Venge

It's no secret that we're big fans of the latest generation Venge. But as a fit-led company all that matters to us is getting each individual rider on the bike that's right for them, perfectly fitted. So the fact that the Venge makes such frequent appearances in our Build Gallery is also a testament to the adjustability and dialled-in geometry of this aero road machine.

This build sees the inclusion of Specialized's Power Pro Elaston saddle, the most lightly padded of their Power range. The combination of high tech Elaston foam and a tuned carbon fibre shell (together with light, hollow titanium rails) makes for a saddle that gives a direct connection to the bike without the discomfort you'd expect from such a minimalist seat. As always with saddles the shape is just as important as the padding, if not more so, and that's where Specialized's "Body Geometry" research combines with our fit expertise to help find the perfect perch.

The rest of the build is packed with the usual S-Works attention to details, including CeramicSpeed bearings in the bottom bracket and hubs to ensure maximum smoothness, minimal friction and ultimate durability.

The Aerofly II bars and S-Works Power cranks are both proven performers in their own right, so much so that we often see them specced on custom builds together with framesets from other brands.
