The Diverge is built to roam, no matter what the road surface,
or lack of it. The S-Works build comes with a 1x drivetrain as
standard, a good statement of intent; this is is a bike that isn't
afraid to go off-road.
This bike has had a few tweaks to set it apart from the already
impressive standard equipment. ENVE's SES 4.5 AR wheelset is
handmade in the USA and the perfect match for the Diverge's
all-road intentions. The Ergon CF3 seatpost uses a clever almost
leaf-spring like split design to give some natural cushioning and
suspension, whilst of course Specialized's own Future Shock setup
gives 20mm of travel at the front end.
That 1x drivetrain is handled by a mix of top-level XTR and
Dura-Ace components, truly the best of both worlds! And as always
we're pleased to see the stiff, light and very gorgeous Eastno EC90
SL carbon cranks (rolling on a CeramicSpeed bottom bracket).
