Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL6 Disc

Overview

Well this is perfect timing. We've just seen reigning Luxembourg national champ Bob Jungels absolutely storming to victory in this year's Liege-Bastogne-Liege - on a Tarmac SL6. And here we have a matching pair of the disc-equipped variant.

That's Quick-Step's 27th win of the season, and it's still only April. It's fair to say things couldn't be going better.

Of course the SL6 was our Bike of the Year in 2017, and we welcomed the disc brake version just a month ago. That makes for a mighty impressive combination, and we think that this year is only going to see this bang up-to-date frame continuing to triumph both in and out of the Pro peleton.

These builds are certainly race-worthy, with the Roval CLX50 mid-section wheels providing an aero boost whilst remaining sensibly light (and with super-smooth CeramicSpeed bearings).

And these newest models also feature Specialized's S-Works Power Cranks as standard. These take the supremely stiff and light S-Works chainset (so good it often ends up specced on custom builds of other brand's bikes) and integrate an extremely accurate dual-sided power meter. All the benefits of power measurement, without having to worry about swapping wheels, or pedals.

We're going to be seeing a lot more of these in the build gallery over the coming months, that's for sure. Meantime, check out more details and order your own SL7 Disc here or come and see us in store to learn more.
