Specialized Tarmac Disc Comp

Overview

You're getting a lot of bike for your money with the Tarmac Comp (especially when it's a 61cm frame size). There's the Tarmac SL6, FACT 9r carbon frameset which we rate so highly, lighter and more aero than the previous generation. Shimano's Ultegra Di2 groupset means you never need to worry about the drivetrain, it's tried, tested and brilliantly engineered.

A DT Swiss wheelset is always a welcome sight, and the R470 is a great choice at this pricepoint. Should the time come to upgrade to a lighter set of wheels for race days - maybe something carbon and aero profiled - the R470s will continue to serve well as a year-round backup, and the frame itself is eminently 'future proof' and will reward the upgrade.

Really though, right out of the gate, there's nothing here that needs changing other than to ensure the perfect fit. That's at the heart of everything we do - and where our bike fitting expertise comes in (and that's why you'll see a Fizik Arione saddle on this particular build - for this customer it was a better fit than the equally well made Specialized Power that's specced as standard).
