Trek Madone SL 7 Disc

Overview

In recent years we've seen the big bike brands updating their ranges to reflect something that we as bike fitters have always championed - aero is important, but comfort is a big part of performance.

The Madone is a perfect example of this. Wind tunnel tested, of course, with Trek's now expected Kamm aerofoil profile tube shapes to maximise efficiency. But this latest generation SL also includes an adjustable top-tube IsoSpeed decoupler, complete with elastomer damping. This provides a welcome extra bit of compliance without affecting power delivery.

The Madone's geometry has evolved too, and now sits in between the extreme H1 and more endurance-focused H2 positions, with the aptly named H1.5 fit. Developed together with their Pro teams this is still very much an aero fit, but with the emphasis on efficiency for both bike and rider.

There's plenty of adjustability too, despite an unprecendented degree of integration (including that neat cable routing into the head tube). And of course whichever make or model you opt for, we ensure the perfect fit.
