Yeti SB100 Turq Series

Overview

With 100mm of travel front and rear the SB100 might sound like a traditional XC bike at first glance. But Yeti have done something special with their latest "XC-style" machine, and dialled in a geometry and handling that make it an all-round trail bike for, as they put it "racers who want to fly down as much as they soar up".

Their Switch Infinity linkage is now lighter than ever, and tucked neatly behind the seat tube. This top of the range Turq series frameset uses their highest grade of carbon fibre to save 200g compared to the C-series, and provide the stiffest frameset possible.

At the front the Fox Factory Step-Cast forks trim away every last bit of excess material from the fork legs to keep things light whilst remaining super stiff. The 32 forks aren't the beefiest in Fox's lineup, but they're the perfect match for the confident XC/Trail blend that the SB100 is aimed at.

A wireless AXS dropper post keeps things neat with a minimum of cables, and together with the wireless shifting makes for an extremely tidy cockpit. There is even a Quarq power meter integrated into the crankset - this really is a complete build.
