Peter Sagan has done it again, with a record 7th overall Green Jersey win in the Tour de France.

To celebrate Specialized are making 100 individually-numbered, hand-painted S-Works Venge framesets that are exact replicas of the frame Peter raced on Stage 21.

Update: We're told that they've all been pre-ordered already, within hours of being announced. No real surprise there!

Specialized say:

"The incomparable Peter Sagan has now taken the Tour de France's Green Jersey to Paris seven times, surpassing the German sprint star, Eric Zabel, as the greatest Green Jersey in the race's 106 editions. He rode onto the Champs Élysées on a very special S-Works Venge Disc designed to celebrate not just his victory, but the long road to get there. Custom-painted in Italy, and hand-carried across France to the BORA-hansgrohe hotel outside of Paris, the bike is a beautiful testament to Peter Sagan's talent, attitude, and electric personality. In the past, these custom bikes have been one-of-a-kind, destined for a single day of racing before being hung up on the wall. But not this year.

To celebrate Peter's unprecedented feat, we're making 100 individually-numbered, S-Works Venge Disc Sagan 7x Limited-Edition framesets that are exact replicas of the frame Peter raced on Stage 21. They will be painted in the same, small Italian paint shop by the same hands that painted Peter's, with the exact same design he rode to secure his victory. These framesets will be a piece of Tour history and instant collector's items.

The S-Works Venge Disc Sagan 7x Limited-Edition frameset will cost $7000, with a portion of all proceeds going to the OUTRIDE Foundation, an organization dedicated to proving that cycling benefits your brain. Through research, cycling programs, and grant-giving activities, OUTRIDE provides evidenced-based cycling interventions to improve social, emotional, and cognitive health.

These exclusive framesets will be sold first-come, first-served until all 100 framesets are sold. As these are individually hand-painted, delivery of these framesets will occur through August to October."
